Summer flew by but we can’t wait to get ready for the leaves to start crunching and drinks to taste like autumn in a cup. Between Washington’s apple orchards to our large amount of wine and cider tastings, you’ll find plenty to do near Everett.

But we wanted to dive deeper into the best coffee shops that will serve you up pumpkin spiced lattes and chai mochas until your heart’s content. Here are the top four coffee shops near our front door.

The Red Cup Cafe

We love the Everett waterfront, but Mukilteo comes a close second for a place to get your cup of Joe. We are heading to the Red Cup Cafe by the water to grab one of their specialty Fall drinks. Our top picks include their pumpkin chai latte paired with their delicious pumpkin cream cheese muffins.

The Fall food along with the sound of waves crashing and seagulls talking will make sure you get into the mood this September.

Visible Coffee Roasters

If you’re a local, you may know this stop used to be called the Spotted Cow Coffee Company before changing their name a few months ago to Visible Coffee Roasters! This cute authentic shop is located in downtown Mill Creek that comes complete with little city views and spacious areas to work and catch up with friends in.

Our order will include their vanilla bourbon latte with a side of gelato to squeeze out the last bit of sunshine before the rain creeps in. This place is a little bit of a drive from our apartments but it’s worth it for the ice cream and cozy drinks!

Narrative Coffee

One of our original favorites, that’s even based in downtown Everett, is the Narrative Coffee Company! They roast their own beans in order to give you the full experience of Washington coffee. The inside of this establishment is the perfect location to get work or studying done due to a large amount of natural lighting and comfortable seating.

Their salted chocolate chip cookie is our snack of choice when dropping by here along with their house chai latte with a little honey!

The Loft Coffee Bar

For our last recommendation, we have The Loft Coffee Bar which is also located in the heart of Everett, WA. This special spot will make sure you feel safe and motivated to conquer whatever work you may have during the week.

Your hands will be full with their chai latte made with vanilla, spice, Oregon chai, and your choice of steamed milk. It’s like Fall in a cup! We will also be grabbing a scone of the day for a little sweet treat to get us through our work.
